Update: WashU’s Danforth Campus will return to normal operations on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

All in-person on-campus activities, including performances and events, are canceled through Monday, January 26, 2026. Students are advised to stay home so crews can work to clear snow and keep campus safe.

The following will be in effect on the Danforth Campus through Monday:

  • All classes and student activities on the Danforth Campus will be virtual on Monday, January 26. Students will receive a Zoom link or other directions from their instructors.
  • The Sumers Recreation Center will remain closed until January 27. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, January 27 at 6 a.m.
  • WashU Libraries will be closed to patrons through Monday, January 26, due to inclement weather, including:
    • John M. Olin Library
    • Kenneth and Nancy Kranzberg Art & Architecture Library
    • Al and Ruth Kopolow (Business) Library
    • East Asian Library
    • Gaylord Music Library
    • Brown School Library
    • WashU Law Library may operate differently.
    • All remote resources, including 24/7 chat, will remain available. Visit WashU Libraries’ website for general inquiries and more information.
  • Dining Services: Please check the dining website for details about specific locations.
  • Shuttles: Monitor the TripShot app to track WashU Danforth Campus shuttle schedules and monitor delays.
